Persistent heartburn that didn’t go away

Hi doctor, I am 24 years old and had been experiencing heartburn and squeezing of esophagus for about 4 months. Recently, I had finished 2 weeks dose of pantroprazole 40mg but still show no sign of improvement. I started wondering could it be triggered by other disease other than acid reflux? Can Dr give my any advice or suggestion to improve my current situation? Thanks
