Good morning and thank you for letting me know the kind question. Before we go any further, what kind of food do you normally eat? Was there any other triggers apart from improper meal time and type of food? From your description it is most likely that you are having a condition called as gastritis which is the inflammation of your stomach’s lining.
The inflammation of gastritis is most usually occurs as the result of infection with the same bacteria that causes most of the stomach ulcers. Regular use of certain pain killers and taking too much alcohol can also contribute to gastritis. Gastritis can occur abruptly which is also known as acute gastritis, or appear slowly over time which is called as chronic gastritis.
In few cases, gastritis can lead to stomach ulcers and an increased chance of having stomach cancer. For most patient, however, gastritis does not posses serious. It can improves quickly with a proper treatment. The signs and symptoms of gastritis for example you have stomach pain or a burning pain on your upper abdominal part, nausea, vomiting, and feeling bloated or fullness especially after eating.
The risk factors for gastritis are a per you described which are improper meal time or schedule and eating unhealthy food or geting a food poisoning. Other risk factors will include regular use of pain relievers, older age, stress, excessive alcohol use and there is a condition called as autoimmune gastritis which is the gastritis that occured because of our own immune system that is attacking the stomach lining. Do prevent this condition from happening again by washing your hand regularly with soap to prevent any infections.
