When should I get swabbed for COVID?

Good afternoon. My wife was tested positive on Sunday evening whereas my result came back negative on Monday afternoon. She’s currently on home quarantine but starting from yesterday I started developing symptoms such as throat irritation and mild fever. I’m currently on isolation in my own room and Paracetamol seemed to control my fever. My question is when should I get swab-tested again, or is there such a need? Appreciate your help, thank you!
