Earache in my left ear for third time

Hello. Im a student, 23 years old. Lately, im suffer from earache. I used to get this earache and already met a doctor, he said i was getting ear infection. Second one I got was in October, the doctor said i hurt my eardrum. Now, my ear started to feel the same pain as before. Its really hurt and i can get fever just to endure the pain. My question is, why this keep happening to my ear and should I meet a doctor again since they will just give me antibiotic, panadol and pain killer. and is there any home treatment i can use ? Thank you in advance Doctor. I will happy to wait for your response.
