On/off sore throat and feeling of a little lump phlegm at the back of my throat when awake in the morning

  • Fever (more than 37.5 degrees celcius)
  • Fatigue
  • Cough
  • Aches and pains
  • Sorethroat
  • Headaches
  • Shortness of breath

Based on your symptom of sorethroat, you may answer the quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate your health status in regards to this disease. After completing this quiz, you will be classified into several categories. You may be of low risk in contracting the virus if you have no recent travel history to high risk countries and close contact with positive cases of COVID-19.

Besides COVID-19 infection, your presenting symptoms can be caused by other health problems such as:

  • Other bacterial or viral infection
  • Injury to the throat due to coughing, hard or sharp food ingestion
  • Too much talking or screaming
  • Lack of water intake
