Radiating ear pain and swelling

Hi, I am a woman in late 20s. A couple of days ago, I started experiencing aching in my right ear. I first assumed it to be a pimple growing there but the pain increased the days after, radiating to my neck and jaw, causing me to have difficulty of sleeping and eating due to the pain.

I am still in pain now, but I have taken Paracetamol to help with the pain, and I did warm and cold compress to help with the swelling around the ear, but now I am suspecting it is an outer ear infection (I discovered a little amount of yellow fluid outside of the ear canal).

What can I do to help my situation? Will I need to purchase ear drops from the pharmacy or will it go away on its own?

And should I see a doctor if the pain does not subside for the next few more days?
