Scared of something that people think ridiculous

Im scared of cockroach. I mean, really trauma i cant even see a cockroach ill panic and do something carelessly. My family think im just being dramatic and over for something as small as cockroach but no! I am really serious when i said im scared. Im a person who loves to stay in the dark alon bcz i think thats so calm and relaxing but because of the animal, i am terrified to stay in the dark and i start to overthinking everything. And it gives me more pressure when everyone assume im being dramatic and the joke me around with something i really frightened. I’m really stress and I don’t know what to do even my mom said im just being childish over something like that. They dont know i used to sleep while sitting with the light on a whole night because of that animal. Yeah, im stressed. And i dont know a single person that will believe me if i share my prob with them.
