For your information, having sexual intercourse during menstrual period, the chances for pregnancy is very low. However, there have been rare cases of getting pregnant during the bleeding duration. Hence, it is best to have protection during sexual intercourse due to concerns of conceiving and Sexually- Transmitted Diseases.
As for your concerns regarding emergency contraception, Postinor- 2 is to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse. Postinor-2 is not for daily use or frequent use if you have regular sexual intercourse. It is not to be taken twice in a single menstrual cycle.
