I was at Pulau Pangkor for my vacation and noticed that when I went deeper into the oean I began to have this stinging feeling. When I was about waist deep in the sea I was alright even though I submerged my entire body but the minute I went in to about shoulder height I began to get such a stinging pain that I could barely focus. I was scared that if I went any deeper I would drown because of the amount of pain I was feeling.
However, when I came out I didn’t have a rash and my skin wasn’t red at all. Does anyone know why this happens? Is it because my skin may be too sensitive or the pressure (although I doubt it was that since I wasn’t that deep in there).
