We understand your worries especially with the development of symptoms indicative but not exclusive of COVID-19.
For you information, WHO listed common symptoms for COVID-19 infection as follows:
For your information, your brother cannot take more than the recommended dose of panadol. If it is 500mg panadol, your brother should take two tablets every 6 hours. If he takes more than that, it can cause liver failure.
Apart from that, sore throat and fever can be due to many health conditions.
DONOT GIVE ALCOHOL TO YOUR BROTHER AS HE IS UNDERAGED AND ALCOHOL CANNOT BE TAKEN WITH PANADOL. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS.
As he has sorethroat and fever, he is encouraged to answer the quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate his health status in regards to this disease. After completing this quiz, he will be classified into several categories.
