Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your query.

Seem like you have been experiencing difficulty in sleeping. This is a common occurence in recovered Covid patients and it is known as the Long Covid Syndrome. This syndrome may not affect all Covid patients, but those who do suffer from it report having symptoms of tiredness, difficulty in breathing, lethargy, sore body and insomnia long after recovering from the infection. However, insomnia can also be contributed by other factors such as :

  • Depression
  • Too much caffein intake
  • Sedentary lifestyle
  • Side effects of some medications
  • Overworked

We advise you to speak to a doctor regarding your insomnia to have a better understand of its cause and ways treat it. In the meantime, you can follow some of these methods to help you sleep better :

  • Exercise
  • Yoga or meditation
  • Reduce coffee or tea intake especially before bedtime
  • Reduce screen time before bed
  • Have a regular sleep schedule

You may consult our doctor for further assistance regarding this matter.
