Non-stop coughing for a month
A 10 year old boy keep wanting to vomit for a month. He saw a doctor, did a lung x-ray, no problem but one month later symptom still persists. He lost some weight since a month ago and has asthma. What could be some of the problem as the doctor said he’s fine.

Through the question and statement you gave on the above section, i completely understand your concern over this matter. For your information, there a few causes that lead to child vomiting, which are:
- gastroenteritis, a common infection of the gastrointestinal tract and vomiting is accompanied with diarrhea and last a few days
- food allergy can cause vomiting and accompanied with other signs as itchy skin rash, swelling of the face, eyes, lips and tongue.
- urinary tract infection, meningitis, pneumonia and middle ear infection
- appendicitis is the painful swelling of the appendix.
If the child has these following symptoms advise you to seek medical attentionn immediately:
- dehydrated
- the vomit is green and contains blood
- have been vomiting more than 2 days
