Before we go any further, can I ask you is the any previous occasion such as trauma or sports injury that causing your body pain? Does the pain stay there all the time? Was there any muscle weakness or high body temperature? Do you have any allergic reaction to anything like dust, cold or pets?

Your answers will be helpful for us to know your condition. Because there are many conditions that can cause body pain and body rashes. For example, skin allergy. This will develops abruptly as you said when your body get into contact with any of the allergens. If you experienced any difficulties in breathing, please inform the doctor straightaway.

However, there is a disease called as dermatomyositis that can cause skin rash and muscle pain. Dermatomyositis is an uncommon inflammatory disease. Common symptoms of dermatomyositis as mentioned a:

  • distinctive skin rash
  • muscle weakness
  • inflammatory myopathy
  • muscle pain.

It is one of the only 3 known inflammatory muscle diseases. Dermatomyositis can affect both children and adult. There is no absolute treatment for this problem, but muscle pain can be managed. The exact cause of dermatomyositis is unknown. But, it is almost similar to an autoimmune disease.

This is because an autoimmune disease occurs when your body has a fighting cell also called antibodies is used to fight against bad bacteria but instead attack your healthy cells. For example, having a viral illness or cancer can compromise your immune system. This will lead to the problem of dermatomyositis.
