Prescription of Fosamax Plus

Hi Doctor, I’m a 57-year-old woman. I’ve been taking FosamaxPlus (70mg/5600IU) for about 28 months already. However, I’ve forgotten to take it for the past two weeks (twice of once a week intake). Can I still continue taking it after this or is it harmful for me to do so?

Hello, and thank you for contacting us

Let’s boost our health by having the right supplements. Here are a few viable options!

The medication to which you are referring to, is known by the generic name alendronic acid. However, such medication usually needs proper consultation from the doctor that has prescribed you the medication. Hence we encourage you to consult with your health centre or visit the nearest clinic or hospital in your area to ensure the best medication that can be prescribed according to your current health.

In addition, to decide on which therapy best suited (if deemed necessary), an additional assessment must be done from our behalf, in order to avoid any counterproductive circumstances in the near future.
