Small purplish like black spot on my upper left leg calf
Hello doctor, today before i take my shower i was aware that there is a small purplish like black spot on my left leg upper calf. I can feel a little bit pain when i touch it. What is the cause of this purplish spot? Is it hematoma? Should i seek immediate medical attention? And for your information i do my workouts everyday and can i resume my workouts or rest for a few days?

A hematoma is a localized bleeding outside of blood vessels, due to either disease or trauma including injury or surgery and may involve blood continuing to seep from broken capillaries. It can cause the purplish spot that you have. It is advisable that you contact a doctor or any healthcare provider as soon as you can if this worries you.
