Trouble of sleeping

hi , im a 15 y/o girl , i’ve been having trouble of sleeping since early this year , first , i’ll always wake up in the middle of the night so many times bcz i felt like i cant breath , and my heart would beat so fast i can feel it outside , second , i’d wake up many times too at night bcz i can hear some noises (which actually wasn’t there) and my ears were buzzing. It feels like I’m awake but i was still in my sleep and i’d have to force myself to wake up. Can you explain what’s happening for both of my condition?

Hello and good night
Thank you for your question.

Based on your question, I understand that you are worry about your problem. I will try to help you.

For your information, you may experienced insomnia. Insomnia refers to the inability to fall asleep or to remain asleep. It can be caused by jet lag, stress and anxiety, hormones, or digestive problems. It may also be a symptom of another condition.

Insomnia can be problematic for your overall health and quality of life, potentially causing:

  • depression
  • difficulty concentrating
  • irritability
  • weight gain
  • impaired work or school performance

The disorder is most prevalent among older adults and women. Insomnia is usually classified as one of three types:

  • chronic, when insomnia happens on a regular basis for at least 1 month
  • intermittent, when insomnia occurs periodically
  • transient, when insomnia lasts for just a few nights at a time

Therefore, I advise you to refer to a doctor for a proper treatment. You can also have an online consultation with our doctors for more information and further treatments.

I hope this answer will help you. Thank you.
