HIV Self test kit’s result
I had unprotected anal sex last December. I brought the fourth-generation HIV Self test last 2 weeks ago. I tested negative. But I sort of scare that result is invalid cause I noticed there was little tiny area didn’t cover it at bottom of sample area. However, my blood on the sample is okay I just dropped 2 drops of my blood. I left the blood sample there for 5-10 sec. Then, 2 drops of chase buffer is dropped. The control line was showing slowly till a solid red line.
I noticed the panel was not white after the test. It shows like reddish color. The corner of the panel have some red color line, vertically, on that. (I mean side by side ). AG/AB aren’t showing up. just clear and didn’t saw the any lines visibility on these areas. Is this result acceptable?
